Seems that Bubbles, my husband's dog, does not like bubbles. Cybil and Ryan were down to see us this weekend. They've been married for six months now, so I broke out a couple of leftover souvenir bubble bottles. Cybil loves bubbles, something she frequenly gets in gag gifts. When Cybil started blowing bubbles, the dog backed away from the strange stuff. Eventually, he backed completely out of the room.
Other than that, it was great to see the kids. We took Bubbles on a couple of long walks. Lloyd had a nice talk with Cybil after supper. Ryan and Cybil helped me clean up the twigs and leaves in the yard so mowing is no longer impossible. They left after lunch Saturday so they would have time to drop in on his mother, who lives in a town on their way home.

Hi Jan, so good to see you back again...bubbles and all !! Great that you and Lloyd had such a good visit with Cybil and Ryan. Bet wee bi=ubbles enjoyed his walk even if he didn't appreciate the bubbles !! can't remember if my wee Dee has ever though t he was being attacked by bubbles !! Much Love Sybil x
My old dog Guy would bite and burst the bubbles. It was funy listening to his teeth 'clup' together as well as watching the look of surprise on his face when it burst on his nose. Fun times....lol!
Poor little Bubbles....maybe there were too many of his 'images' in the room.
It's lovely having visitors....isn't it?

My dog also loved bubbles. He just could not understand where they went when he tried to pick them up. He also loved ice cubes in the summer and when he was a puppy he burried some for later and nearly went crazy looking for them when he dug them up!
Isn't it funny that with all of the new technology kids still love blowing bubbles? We keep them right next to our hula hoops for the grandkids!
